Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31st 2027.) Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge. Experience Previous experience required will vary by nursing unit.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Successful completion of the Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration Current CRNM registration required. Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Qualifications

• and Skills Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French). *
• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

**The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families. Day shifts are between the hours of 0730 and 1545. Evening shifts are between the hours of 1130 and 2345. There are also standby on call shifts on this unit.
