• Opportunity: Join our Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving the South Georgian Bay community. Our ED provides comprehensive triage, trauma, resuscitation, medical, and surgical care for more than 34,000 patients annually. • At this time this opportunity is scheduled for 12-hour shifts.
• As the successful applicant, you will do the following:
• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care through rapid assessment, treatment, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration while adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Provide supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Maintain high standards of professional practice, critical thinking, and compassionate patient-centered care. What You’ll Bring Required
• Registered as an RN with the College of Nurse
• One-year recent experience in acute care nursing
• ACLS, Physical Assessment course Preferred
• Current emergency nursing experience
• Completion of emergency courses or in the process of working towards
