Position Overview Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy and Manager of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Assistant supports the drug distribution services of Pharmacy Departments in the region through the performance of technical and clerical functions.

The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Experience Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred. Previous knowledgeable and experience with sterile product preparation is required. Basic computer experience is required including typing skills (minimum 40wpm).

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards required. Complete diploma in Pharmacy assistant (Preference).
