The Registered Nurse provides nursing services within patient homes and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs and set care priorities. They also participate in educational programs, performance evaluations, and research projects within the Home Care Program.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a nursing diploma and at least two years of recent community nursing experience. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.

Under the direction of the Home Care Home First Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes good public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.
