The Connect Counsellor screens, assesses, and provides therapy and case management to culturally Deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing clients. They also collaborate with team members to educate and build partnerships with service providers regarding mental health issues within these communities.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology and be registered with a regulated college in Ontario. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mental health or clinical social work, preferably with adult psychiatric populations, is required.
