Requires a Master's degree in a relevant health discipline and active membership in a regulatory body. Candidates must have 4-5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in mental health and addictions.

The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre (MATC) embraces the goal of Jordan's Principle to ensure that all children and youth have access to the health services they need in a timely manner. Sited within MATC services, this Mental Health Clinician position will primarily focus on receiving and responding to requests for service. The Mental Health Clinician will provide consultation, triage and initial assessments of needs for the purposes of preparing youth and their families for ongoing treatment within the service. Specific duties will also include establishing and maintaining liaison with First Nation community resources, health services, other Jordan’s Principle partners and stakeholders.
This position is based in Winnipeg with service delivery occurring largely over the phone or via Telehealth or other virtual means. Occasional travel to First Nations communities throughout Manitoba may be required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited education institution required.
