Provide personal support with activities of daily living and medication administration for clients in their homes and community settings. Collaborate with healthcare teams and families to document client progress and ensure optimal well-being and independence.
Must possess a CCA certificate, registration with the Nova Scotia CCA Registry, and current CPR/First Aid certification. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening are required.

Your role with clients
The Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) provides support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) for individuals with a broad range of care needs in their homes and other community locations.
The CCA collaborates with members of the health care team and the caregiver/family in meeting the needs of individuals to attain an optimal level of independence and well-being.
