Requires a grade 12 education or equivalent and completion of an administrative or office training program. Candidates must have at least one year of office experience and a valid Class 5 driver's license with insurance.

Position Overview The Administrative Secretary - Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Rehabilitation Services team. This includes dealing with confidential information, reception, data management, document production, scheduling, other communications as necessary and other duties as assigned. The incumbent must be a versatile, mature individual who demonstrates knowledge and skills in general office procedures while communicating in a pleasant and courteous manner when dealing with people.
The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Experience One (1) year previous experience working in an office environment.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade twelve (12) education or equivalent. Completion of an Administrative/Office training program. Other suitable combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Physical Requirements Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job. No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. May work occasionally evenings and weekends as necessary. Will be required to travel to other regional facilities as the position duties may require.
