Position Overview Under the direction of the Support Services Manager, and in accordance with the facility Mission, Vision and Values statements and the Resident Bill of Rights, provides Housekeeping services for River Park Gardens Personal Care Home. Experience Previous work-related experience.

• Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Not Applicable Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Verbal command of the English language and English reading skills required, written skills preferred.
• Ability to relate well with co-workers, residents and families.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates concern and interest in giving the quality of care in cleaning the resident’s rooms to make them feel like it's their home.
• Ability to attend work on a consistent basis.

Physical Requirements Ability to perform duties requiring frequent bending and lifting.

• This Indefinite Term may expire subject to one (1) weeks’ notice.
• This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
• A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
• Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
