The Occupational Therapist will conduct triaging, assessments, and treatments for first responders within the WSIB Mental Health Specialized Care Contract. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate functional recovery and coordinate safe transitions back to the community.
Candidates must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and possess at least three years of clinical experience with adult psychological disorders. Proficiency in trauma treatment modalities and prolonged exposure therapy is required.

Insight Health Solutions (IHS) is a provider of third party health services to a variety of sectors. Embedded within the entrepreneurial program THP Solutions, IHS works closely with our internal stakeholders to deliver high quality, expedited assessment, treatment and diagnostic services.
This role will focus on services delivered through the WSIB Mental Health Specialized Care Contract, with a focus on first responder care. As an integral member of the interdisciplinary assessment and treatment team the Occupational Therapist (OT) will play a key role in the triaging, assessment and treatment of individuals referred to IHS from the WSIB. They will work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health clinicians, and kinesiologists to determine what the client needs are clinically to make a full functional recovery, as well as liaise with external community healthcare providers and insurers to ensure a safe transition from the program to the community.
The role will work closely with clients, customers and other front-line clinicians to deliver a high quality, evidence-based program that focuses on returning clients to function and reducing impairment and disability – all in an innovative environment.
