Northern Health is looking for experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Staffing Clerks. There are a variety of positions available including permanent and temporary full-time positions. Please submit resume with application Reporting to the Coordinator, Staffing Services or designate, the incumbent works closely with unit managers to provide a high level of staffing services to meet both short and long term staff scheduling needs. Using a computerized scheduling system, the clerk performs related staffing functions following standard staffing guidelines. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Hours of work will vary by positions available and can include: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00, or other schedules based on the position. Grade 12.
Three (3) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Ability to type at 40 wpm.
