The Outreach Worker provides proactive support and recovery services to women and children affected by systemic marginalization and substance use. They act as a relationship-builder and advocate to help clients build skills and achieve goals within a coordinated service delivery team.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of community outreach experience, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Indigenous culture, trauma-informed principles, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Manito Ikwe Kagiikwe (MIK) supports women and children affected by systemic marginalization and substance use who have complex health and social needs. Functioning as part of a coordinated service delivery team, the Outreach Worker works proactively with new and existing clients, offering a range of support and recovery services, within an existing service plan and on an as-needed basis. The Outreach Worker is a relationship-builder and advocate and provides service in a non-judgmental and culturally appropriate manner, helping clients to build new skills and achieve their goals
EducationMust have a Valid Drivers’ License and access to a reliable vehicle.
