Provides professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs within the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit. Responsibilities include administering medical treatments, coordinating patient care, and leading the healthcare team through to discharge.
Requires a graduate degree from an approved Registered Nursing program and current CRNM registration. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in CSIU, surgical, or cardiology nursing and hold a current BLS Level C certification.

Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge. Experience One (1) year CSIU and/or surgical nursing and/or cardiology nursing experience required. Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
