The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the operating room. They work under the direction of the nursing manager to ensure quality surgical care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a nursing diploma and be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. An advanced certificate in Perioperative Nursing or equivalent operating room experience is required.
