Provide therapeutic interventions and counselling to individuals and groups impacted by interpersonal and complex trauma. Manage administrative tasks including intakes, assessments, and progress reports while participating in program development.
Requires an undergraduate degree in social sciences (graduate preferred) and at least 2 years of supervised clinical counselling experience. Must possess a deep understanding of trauma, intimate partner violence, and holistic care practices.

As part of the Trauma Program, the counsellor will provide therapeutic interventions to people impacted by interpersonal trauma. Counsellors strive to provide a safe(r) healing space to assist individuals/groups with their healing journey using a Strength Based, Person Centred and Holistic approach. This position directly reports to the Manager of Counselling Services.
Provides counselling to individuals/groups impacted by relationship trauma Practices and promotes leading practices Maintains confidentiality and professionalism Creates a safe(r) space for individuals Completes intake, assessment, progress reports, summaries, charts and other administrative tasks relevant to the position Participates in program development, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance Actively participates in self-development; including evaluations and training opportunities Engages in regular clinical supervision and program meetings Adhere to all agency policies, protocols and leading practices Perform other duties and functions related to job description but not exceeding above stated capacities
