Richmond Adult Mental Health Team (0.5 FTE position), based in the community, is a program that provides longer-term management of serious and persistent mental health conditions requiring an interdisciplinary treatment team. The majority of referrals are from Family Physicians in the community, the Emergency Department, as well as the In-Patient Unit. Apply today to join our team!

  • Health, you will: Provide an innovative and comprehensive array of psychiatric assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to support the recovery of individuals living with complex, co-morbid mental health, addiction and physical health issues. Participate in the on-call roster. May be involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new programs. Participate in the training and education of medical students, residents and other allied health professionals.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience: Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSCBC) License – Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory Eligibility for clinical academic position with UBC Department of Psychiatry Closing Statement Interested in applying? Requirements

Candidates must hold a current full license from the College of Physicians of BC and be a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Eligibility for a clinical academic position with UBC Department of Psychiatry is also required.
