Perform diagnostic radiology duties and assist radiologists with radiologic procedures. Provide direct patient care and support the training and orientation of students and other technologists.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology school and hold CAMRT certification. Membership in good standing with CAMRT-MB and CAMRT is required.

Position Overview Under the general supervision of the SENIOR/CHARGE TECHNOLOGIST, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health the General Duty Radiology Technologist – MRT performs assigned Diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. The General Duty Radiology Technologist – MRT assist radiologist in performance of radiologic procedures, assist with training and orientation of technologist, participates in instructing students, provides direct patient care, administrative and operational support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery. As well as other duties as assigned. Experience Patient care experience preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Imaging Technology. Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists certification exam (CAMRT).
Certification/Licensure/Registration Must be a member of CAMRT-MB and CAMRT in good standing.
and Skills Must have the ability to start and establish IVs or commit to successfully completing the departmental Intravenous Certification Program within 3 months from the date of hire (site specific). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
