The Audiologist plans, delivers, and evaluates hearing services for populations ranging from infants to adults. They also provide consultative education for caregivers and may supervise students and provisional members.
Requires a Master's Degree in Audiology and active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba. A valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle insurance are also mandatory.

Position Overview The Audiologist operates with a high degree of independence as a member of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The incumbent plans, delivers, and evaluates hearing services for the infant, preschool, school and adult populations, and in addition, provides consultative public/parent/caregiver education and training services.
The Audiologist may also provide clinical supervision and training for students and provisional members and participates in the education of other health care professionals upon request while maintaining professional accountability, judgment and reasoning with a high level of communication and collaboration.
and Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook/Email. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated effective decision making, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with management and staff within the region as well as appropriate outside vendors and agencies. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required. Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions. Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums. Good work and attendance record. Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
Physical Requirements Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job. No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. May work occasionally evenings and weekends as necessary. Will be required to travel to other regional facilities as the position duties may require.
