Coordinate services and build relationships with families to achieve safety goals through the development of Children’s Services Planning Forms. Provide access to Indigenous cultural resources and collaborate with a network of partner agencies to provide streamlined support.
Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in family case management and home visits, with eligibility to register with the Alberta College of Social Workers. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clear police and child intervention checks.

The Ubuntu CSD is seeking a Youth and Culture Focused Family Support Worker; an integral role in our team, responsible for working with families to coordinate services and build relationships to achieve family goals. This role will act as a support to other Family Support Workers, providing overflow case management support to the team. The Family Support Worker will also actively support access to Indigenous cultural resources, ceremonies, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and land-based or culturally grounded supports identified by families.
The Ubuntu CSD (Collaborative Service Delivery) Program is an innovative approach to child and family support, which leverages a network of partner agencies and Children’s Services to create customized support for children, youth, and families in Northeast Edmonton. Ubuntu offers a continuum of culturally aligned, community-based, family and child centered services. Collectively, with Boyle Street as the lead agency, Ubuntu is one point of access to a streamlined set of services that leverages the expertise of five networks to meet the needs of our families, children, and youth. Entitled the C5 (Collaborative Five) – Ubuntu works collaboratively with Boyle Street Community Services, Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society, Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, Norwood Child and Family Resource Centre, and Terra Centre for Teen Parents.
