The Pathologists' Assistant is responsible for the initial examination and dissection of surgical specimens and bodies during post-mortem examinations. They also assist with research and instruction of Pathology interns and residents.
Candidates must have completed a Pathologist Assistant Masters Program and hold certifications from the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the Canadian Association of Pathologists. A valid driver's license may also be required.
