The role involves preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision, including sterile and non-sterile compounding. Responsibilities also include medication reconciliation, inventory control, and participating in patient safety initiatives.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program and eligible for licensure with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator. Proficiency in other languages, particularly French, is considered an asset.

Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program Eligible for Licensure and registration in Nova Scotia as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator (NSPR) required Candidates who meet the above qualfiications and are actively pursuing Pharmacy Technician licensure within the province of Nova Scotia will be hired as a Pharmacy Practice Assistant until registration is achieved Competencies in other languages is an asset; French preferred
