The dental assistant will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists during procedures, and maintain a clean, safe environment following IPAC standards. They are also responsible for taking X-rays, updating patient charts, and providing oral hygiene education to patients.
Candidates must be registered as a Dental Assistant with their provincial regulatory body and hold NDAEB certification. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
