The caseworker provides intensive case management, life skills development, and crisis support to youth in a housing program. They are responsible for maintaining household operations, ensuring program compliance, and connecting participants with community resources.
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, or designate, the Caseworker will assist in case management, service delivery, supervision of participants, and the household operations.
What you'll do
• Secondary education from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Community Colleges or University Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or minimum 1 year of practical experience working with individuals impacted by socio-economic issues including homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfare
First Aid, ASIST, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, Food Safe would be considered an asset.
Valid / Insurable Saskatchewan Driver’s License, insurable to drive clients in JHSS-owned vehicles.
Cleared Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check, completed three (3) months prior to start date.
