The Speech Language Pathologist provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. They work within an interdisciplinary team and consult with families and service providers to implement effective care strategies.
Candidates must hold a Master of Speech Language Pathology and be registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. A valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment are required.

Reporting directly to the Senior Speech Language Pathologist, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to children with speech language and swallowing disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist works together with other staff as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Speech Lanaguage Pathologist may also work independently providing assessment, treatment and consultation throughout central and northern Saskatchewan. The Speech Language Pathologist consults extensively with parents and other service providers on effective strategies in the home and other programs the child participates in. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
