The Addictions Worker provides direct client-centered care, including facilitating wellness activities, administering medications, and maintaining detailed clinical documentation. They also contribute to facility operations, such as meal preparation and safety inspections, while working within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma and relevant certifications including First Aid, CPR, AED, Naloxone, and Addictions Care and Treatment. Experience in addiction and mental health settings is considered an asset, along with strong administrative and organizational skills.

Position Summary,
A New Tomorrow supports both adult and youth divisions of practice committed to delivering exceptional treatment services to individuals recovering from substance misuse with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to transforming lives.
Reporting to the Lead Addictions Worker & Manager of Support Services, the Addictions Worker is responsible for engaging in therapeutic practices within their scope of practice. The Addictions Worker is to ensure all practice standards are met including licensing and health & safety. Specifically, the Addictions Worker is responsible for the duties listed below:
This position is assigned to a night line. However, the work location and/or hours may subject to change based on operational needs.
CSW0361-K: Sunday to Thursday: 9pm to 9am (term)
CSW0361-F: Mon to Fri: 4p to 9p
