Reporting to the Rural Health Manager, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients as a member of a multidisciplinary team; is responsible and accountable for coordinating and administering direct patient care utilizing the nursing process; provides direction to staff and volunteers; and responds to emergency situations to safeguard patients, visitors and staff in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Two years' recent related experience in medical/surgical and emergency settings. Basic Life Support Level C. Valid BC Driver's License
