The Registered Nurse provides clinical leadership and delivers high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents with complex health needs. They are responsible for conducting assessments, managing medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement effective care plans.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and be in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM). A current First Aid Certificate and Food Safe Certificate are required, along with experience in a long-term care environment.
As a Registered Nurse at our Kelowna communities, you are a key leader in delivering compassionate, person-centred care. You support residents with complex health needs while fostering strong relationships within the team and broader community. Rooted in our ministry values, your role combines clinical excellence with servant leadership. Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards. Conduct assessments, administer medications, and manage complex health conditions. Develop and implement person-centred care plans. Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Participate in quality improvement and ensure health and safety compliance. Model Baptist Housing’s ministry values and practice servant leadership. Work in a vibrant and scenic community in Kelowna, located in the Okanagan Valley. Available Work: Temporary Part-Time (0.91 FTE), approximately 34 hrs/week | Evening Line Commencement: April 20, 2026 – July 12, 2026 (or until return of incumbent)
