Provide direct personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in day programs and supported living environments. Facilitate community participation, implement individualized support plans, and ensure the health and safety of residents.
Requires post-secondary education in Disability Studies or a related field, along with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR and NVCI certifications and pass a vulnerable sector police check.
L’Arche Calgary is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Programs Assistants. In this role, you will provide direct support to persons with developmental disabilities in both our Day Program and Supported Independent Living Program (SILP).
You will play a key role in supporting individuals with daily living, personal care, community participation, and skill development, while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.
