Perform various cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting rooms according to IPAC best practices. Ensure all client rooms are inspected, maintained to high standards, and that equipment is properly managed.
Requires at least one year of experience in a similar position and the ability to travel locally between assignments. Candidates must be able to lift 23 kg and provide a clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening.
Perform and adhere to IPAC best practices for a variety of cleaning activities such as: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming Emptying garbage receptacles, cleaning bathrooms, and Completing cleaning after patient discharge. Follow IPAC and company procedures for admission room, discharge, and isolation and/or outbreak client room and unit cleaning. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to our high standards. Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies. Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate. Completion of secondary school diploma preferred and/or Home Support Programs as appropriate.
