The Community Support Worker provides direct care and support to individuals in staffed homes, promoting independence and self-determination. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and maintaining clean, safe living environments.
Candidates must possess a Grade 12 education and a Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent, along with at least two years of relevant experience. Essential certifications include Emergency First Aid/CPR, Food Safe, and a valid class 4 driver's licence.
As our Community Support Worker, you will work as part of a vibrant team to provide care and support to people living in staffed homes within their community. You’ll encourage and empower the people we support to be independent and self-determining and to live the life they envision while maintaining excellent standards of care, health, and safety. Your natural ability to care for others and work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team will allow you to influence your team’s success.
