The Endocrinologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients with various endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and osteoporosis. Responsibilities also involve interpreting diagnostic tests, collaborating with primary care providers, and providing patient education for chronic disease management.
Candidates must possess a Medical Degree (MD) with certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, along with a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). Licensure or eligibility for licensure with the CPSO is mandatory, alongside strong clinical and communication skills.

Foundation Health is seeking a skilled and collaborative Endocrinologist to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will provide consultative and ongoing care for patients with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, working closely with primary care providers and allied health professionals. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, referral volumes, and the opportunity to build a focused or general endocrinology practice. Key Responsibilities Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders, including: Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational) Thyroid disorders Adrenal and pituitary conditions Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease Lipid disorders and metabolic syndrome Interpret and manage diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, dynamic testing) Collaborate with family physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity of care Provide patient education and support for chronic disease management Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary case discussions
