The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary medical care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. Key duties involve conducting patient consultations, developing tailored treatment plans, offering preventative care services, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must possess a Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent, along with current licensure with the CPSA or eligibility to obtain it. Essential qualifications also include experience in primary care or urgent care settings and excellent patient-care and communication abilities.
