The Personal Support Worker assists clients with various personal care services as needed, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator. Key duties include providing assistance with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients on outings or errands.
Candidates must possess a Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent, such as a foreign-trained nurse or nursing student, and must have current CPR/First Aid training or be willing to obtain it. Applicants also need a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, the ability to travel throughout Toronto, and access to the internet/mobile phone.
