The Kinesiologist will be responsible for providing one-on-one exercise prescriptions, completing functional assessments, and designing therapeutic exercise programs tailored to client needs ranging from orthopedic injuries to chronic pain and cognitive issues. They will also assist treating clinicians with progress reporting and return to work planning.
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in kinesiology or human kinetics and be registered or in the process of registering with the BCAK. Essential requirements include excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, comfort collaborating in an interdisciplinary team, and experience working with mental health and chronic pain clients.
