The Personal Support Worker will form deep understandings of residents, build relationships with them and their families, and offer support options and programs to enrich their daily health and well-being. Responsibilities include providing respectful, person-centered support for daily activities like eating, dressing, hygiene, and offering cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support.
Candidates must provide respectful, person-centered support following individualized care plans, assist residents with engagement tools, and promote safety by ensuring access to assistive devices. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program or being an Internationally Educated Nurse with a recognized nursing degree.
