The Personal Support Worker will join the Long Term Care team to provide direct support to residents, focusing on activities of daily living, specific prescribed medication administration under supervision, and ensuring access to necessary assistive devices. They will also offer ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support while encouraging participation in resident programs.
Candidates must have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved institution and possess the necessary skills for administering simple treatments and providing bedside care with attention to detail. Applicants must also be legally eligible to work in Canada and successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
