Nurses will work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in community settings, providing primary and emergency care to residents ranging from newborns to elders within a clinic atmosphere. Responsibilities include utilizing skills for observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, health teaching, health promotion, and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a nursing license through the governing body in good standing, and must meet required work experience. Willingness to obtain a nursing license in the provinces or territories of work is also necessary.
