include providing crisis intervention, care planning, and assessments for risks like suicide and addictions, while working with high-risk complex cases in collaboration with external agencies. The role also involves planning assistance programs and providing care respecting the Indigenous worldview, values, and customs.
Candidates must possess two to five years of experience as a registered Social Worker, including required experience in Child Protective Services, and hold a bachelor’s degree in social work. A current provincial registration is mandatory, along with the ability to travel to remote Nunavut communities for 6-8 week assignments.
