The Physician will perform Medical Service Evaluation (MSE) assessments for injured workers and provide medical assessment and treatment, rehabilitation assessment and treatment, and ergonomic/functional capacity assessments. Responsibilities also include coordinating occupational injury services and return-to-work supports while collaborating with physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and occupational therapists.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree and be licensed to practice medicine in Alberta. Successful applicants need proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and experience in assessing occupational injuries via MSE.
