The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital campus. This includes understanding and following WHMIS guidelines and performing other related duties as assigned.
A Grade 10 education is required, along with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Candidates should also be able to work independently, interact well with others, and adapt to stressful situations.

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital campus; understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines; and performing other related duties as assigned.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
