The Transplant Endocrinologist will provide comprehensive endocrinological care to patients undergoing transplants and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans. They will also engage in clinical research and educate patients and families about transplant processes.
Candidates must hold a Full CPSBC license and be a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada with advanced training in Transplant Endocrinology. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning in endocrinology and transplantation are essential.
Education, Licensing, & Experience: Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC)- Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Mandatory Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons certification in Endocrinology Advanced training and expertise in Transplant Endocrinology, specifically with solid organ, hematologic and islet cell transplant patients Demonstrated experience with immune therapies and their applications in transplant medicine. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
