Overview

Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to established policies and procedures and the Standards of Practice for LPNs in British Columbia. Function as an independent practitioner while accessing RN/RPN support for increased acuity or care outside LPN scope. Assist patients/residents in meeting physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs consistent with Northern Health mission, vision, values, and established protocols. Participate in developing care plans. Conduct assessments. Implement and evaluate nursing interventions. Document information. Act as an advocate for patients/residents.
