The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for obtaining quality blood samples and other specimens from patients, conducting various patient tests, and assisting in building a positive team environment while maintaining quality metrics. Key duties include performing venipuncture, sorting specimens, conducting ECGs and Holter Hookups, and ensuring all documentation is correctly completed for transportation.
