Perform routine and/or complex laboratory tests using manual procedures and automated instruments. Greet patients and collect and/or receive specimens. Enter data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related computer systems/programs. Validate and report test results in accordance with established standards and procedures. Maintain instruments and prepare solutions and control agents according to established procedures and safety standards. Participate in departmental training programs across lab sections (e.g., microbiology, histology, cytology) to learn new/existing tests and procedures. Work in a team-based environment under general supervision of designated personnel
