Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties. Work under the general supervision of Manager or designate. Collaborate with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians, and other health care professionals. Provide patient-centered care in the Medical Imaging department. Teach students, colleagues, medical staff, and others (one-on-one and in groups). Integrate best practice and current research evidence into professional practice decisions and actions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, the public, medical staff, and the interdisciplinary team. Resolve conflict effectively. Apply critical thinking and decision-making skills to integrate and evaluate pertinent data from multiple sources. Organize work, set objectives, establish priorities, and manage time and resources. Supervise responsibilities of others and collaborate across disciplines. Promote staff morale, engagement, and risk-taking. Support implementation of Northern Health policies and other protocols. Use appropriate data analysis and reporting tools. Operate required equipment for the assigned practice area
