Act as a clinical resource for dietitians and other healthcare providers in the community. Provide in-services and education about nutrition and eating disorders to staff, students, physicians, and community agencies. Plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional care for clients/patients according to practice guidelines. Instruct and counsel clients/patients and families regarding nutritional requirements, clinical diet regimes, and food planning and preparation. Coordinate activities and act as a liaison among medical and nursing staff, clients/patients, and/or support agencies.
