Job Description
Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH), Roseway Hospital (RH), and Digby General Hospital (DGH) are seeking emergency physicians. These hospitals are located in the southwest region of Nova Scotia and serve the population of approximately 60,000, in three counties. The successful candidate may also participate in teaching through the family medicine residency program based in Yarmouth and/or with medical students through Dalhousie University.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
College of Family Physicians of Canada Emergency Medicine certification would be considered an asset all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) all family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support(ACLS) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program(NRP) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
