The Home Support Worker provides non-medical personal support, life-skills assistance, and light housekeeping to help clients live independently. Duties include assisting with personal care and meal preparation in the clients' own homes.

We are currently hiring Part Time Home Support Workers/Personal Attendants to join our Community Services Teams in the Burlington Area!

Capability Support Services operates out of the Burlington area offering home to home outreach services, supportive housing programs, and shared-lived programs.

This position requires a driver's license and access to a vehicle as you will be driving from home-to-home.

Position Summary

Home Support Worker/Personal Attendant This position is responsible for providing non-medical personal support services, life-skills support and light housekeeping duties to enable clients to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible. Duties include assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping services. Personal Support Worker certificate is not required but is considered an asset. We welcome candidates with any previous caregiving experience. Employment Requirements: High School Diploma Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset, but not required. Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Job Type: Part Time Availability Requirement: 8:00am to 4:00pm at least 2 days per week, plus every other weekend. Starting
