Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS) is currently hiring Disability Support Workers for multiple open positions in Calgary.

Current opportunities are available across our community, residential, day program, and community link services, with full-time, part-time, and relief positions available.

Candidates may be considered for one or more current openings based on their qualifications, experience, availability, and the requirements of the individual assignment.

We are looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who are passionate about making a difference and committed to person-centred support.

Current Opportunities Community Supports Support adults with disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them achieve personal goals, build independence, and participate meaningfully in community life.

Residential Supports Provide individualized support within residential settings, including assistance with daily living, routines, community participation, and other identified support needs.

Day Program Supports Support individuals in structured day programming, promoting meaningful activities, skill development, community inclusion, and personal choice.

Community Link Supports Provide individualized community-based support focused on participation, independence, relationship building, and achieving personal outcomes.

Schedules and hours vary by position.

Current openings may include full-time, part-time, and relief opportunities, with a variety of weekday, evening, weekend, and other shift requirements depending on the assignment.

What You'll Do Depending on the position, you may: Support adults with disabilities to achieve their personal goals and maximize independence.

Promote community inclusion, choice, dignity, and quality of life.

Assist with daily living skills, community participation, and health-related needs.

Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and follow established support procedures.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Build positive relationships with clients, families, guardians, coworkers, and community partners.

Work collaboratively as part of a support team.

Requirements

Candidates should have education in Human Services, Disability Studies, or equivalent experience, along with current First Aid/CPR certification. A valid driver's licence and a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search are required for most positions.
