Job Description

Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the (CPSS).

  • Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC
  • Licenses
  • Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
  • Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant
  • Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.
  • Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or

Requirements

Candidates must hold an accredited Physician Assistant degree and maintain licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Additional requirements include relevant clinical experience and professional certifications such as CCPA or PA-C.
